Police appeal for information
Police in Douglas are hunting a thief who assaulted a woman while trying to steal a bicycle from her garden.
The incident happened just before 9pm last night (Tuesday 22 Dec) when a man entered the front garden of a property in Derby Road.
He was disturbed by the home owner who was pushed to the ground when she approached him as he made off with the bike.
Officers want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, who witnessed the incident or has any information about it.
