Alan Connor returning to Ireland today
A Southern 100 competitor, killed during this year’s race meeting, will make his final journey back to Ireland today.
Alan Connor died on 11 July following a crash in qualifying on the Billown Circuit.
The 50-year-old, who is from County Meath, is expected to return via Dublin accompanied by his family.
Bikers who wish to travel with him from there to the funeral home have been invited to join a procession.
The inquest into his death was opened at Douglas Courthouse on Friday.
