The virus has already claimed 42 million birds worldwide
The threat of further outbreaks of Bird flu remains despite the recent lifting of restrictions on the Island.
That's the message from the Manx Government's Chief Vet, Amy Beckett.
The virus which has already claimed 42 million birds worldwide and led to the culling of a further 193 million, is officially the worst case of Avian flu on record.
Dr Beckett says the best defence against the virus is good bio-security at all times.
