Peter Eagles becomes Island's 87th Bishop
The Island's new Bishop has been giving some first impressions of Manx life.
Peter Eagles officially took up the religious high post on Saturday, in a special enthronement ceremony at Peel Cathedral.
He will now oversee Christian affairs in the Island, as well as having some sway in Tynwald via a permanent seat on the Legislative Council.
Bishop Eagles succeeds Robert Paterson as the 87th diocesal leader of Sodor and Man.
He told a congregation on Saturday what stands out to him about the Island:
