
The Lord Bishop says the church faces a serious problem with a lack of trust in its leadership.
Bishop Robert was speaking after returning from a recent meeting of the House of Bishops which had been discussing the long-running dispute over the ordination of women bishops.
A revision of a plan which was rejected earlier this year was eventually agreed, which he believes WILL now find favour with the General Synod when they vote on it in November.
But he adds that the discussions highlighted a perceived lack of trust which needs to be addressed
