Venerable Peter Andrew Eagles takes a tour
The Island's new Bishop says he felt "exhilarated but exhausted" after his whistle stop tour.
Downing Street confirmed on Thursday that the Venerable Peter Andrew Eagles would become the next Bishop of Sodor and Man.
Expected to take up the position later this year - he spent the day on the Island visiting schools, meeting members of government, the bishop's leadership team, some clergy and attended evensong at Peel Cathedral.
The Bishop-elect believes he has his first taste of what makes the Island unique:
