Baroness Mone on £250m Dubai project
Bitcoin is the future.
That's the belief of Manx-based businesswoman, Baroness Michelle Mone.
The former model and founder of lingerie brand Ultimo hit the headlines yesterday, after her announcement of a £250 million investment in Dubai property - where apartments will be bought using the crypto-currency.
The venture is being jointly run with her partner Doug Barrowman and his company Knox House Group.
Two residential towers and a shopping mall in Dubai will be built by 2019.
Baroness Mone told Manx Radio why she thinks bitcoin is important as a currency.
