Police are investigating after a fishing boat found a body off the Island’s North coast.
The discovery was made on Friday evening when the vessel dredged up the remains several miles off the coast of Ramsey.
Ramsey’s lifeboat was asked to help recover the body.
Police say the body is in a very poor condition and both its gender and cause of death are unknown.
Officers are now working with police from Ireland and the UK to try to identify the body, which isn’t believed to be from the Isle of Man.
