Police in Scotland have confirmed a body has been found in the search for a Manx resident.
74-year-old Shona Campbell, who was originally from Scotland but lived in Douglas, had been missing since Monday after getting into difficulty while walking on the Solway estuary.
In a statement, Police Scotland confirmed a body was located in the estuary yesterday evening, and although formal identification is yet to take place Ms Campbell's family has been informed.
Officers say the death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious.
