Witnesses asked to contact CID on 631212
Police are appealing for witnesses as they piece together the final movements of a man who was found dead in Ramsey Harbour on Thursday (10 Nov).
The body of 80-year-old Derek Beavers was discovered on the harbour beach, opposite the swimming pool - he was recovered by officers and the Coastguard.
Investigators say his death is currently unexplained and are now building a picture of his last movements.
Mr Beavers is described as a slim man, with grey hair and glasses, he was wearing a long black coat, dark trousers and golf shoes.
It's believed he went out walking in the area at around 9:30am this morning - anyone who may have seen him is now asked to contact police on 631212.
