Police treating death as suspicious
The body of a 39-year-old Ramsey woman has been found in woodland in the north of the Island.
Police have confirmed the woman, who cannot be named at this time, was local.
The Constabulary was notified about the body yesterday morning (22 March), which was discovered in Woodland near Ramsey hairpin.
Authorities are treating the death as suspicious at this time, however are reassuring the public they are not at risk as this is believed to be an isolated incident.
Police are advising people avoid speculation and ask that consideration is given to the family members, who are aware of her death.
Anyone who has relevant information, or who was in the area of the Quarry and woodlands around Ramsey hairpin between approximately 11pm on Saturday (21 March) and 11am yesterday, is asked to contact CID on 631212.
