DoI reduces hours after lengthy queues at busy junction
Temporary traffic lights at Braddan Bridge will no longer operate at peak times following long queues this morning.
Three-way controls had been due to operate at all times while emergency repairs are made to a retaining wall at the roadside, which was damaged by recent poor weather.
However, the Department of Infrastructure says it will now only operate the lights between 9.30am and 3.30pm in a bid to reduce the impact.
The DoI is appealing for motorists to obey the lights to ensure maximum time can be given to each flow of traffic.
