Five ensembles perform for the trophy
The sounds of brass will be emanating from the east of the Island this weekend, as five bands are to compete.
It's the great Laxey Brass Band Festival today, where competitors all vie to take home the ‘Prash Laxaa’ trophy.
However, the day will end with all five bands performing a piece together.
It's taking place in the centre of the village on New Road from 1pm.
