Chief minister urges UK to consider Island's interests
The chief minister says it remains very much a waiting game as far as post-Brexit implications are concerned.
Allan Bell was at a special meeting of the British Irish Council yesterday to discuss the UK's decision to leave the EU with the political leaders of Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the other Crown Dependencies.
Also present were the relevant UK government representatives.
Mr Bell says BIC members pressed home the need for their interests to be considered by the UK, but will just have to wait and see what the outcome is:
