Members gather in Cardiff
Chief Minister Allan Bell will attend an emergency session of the British-Irish Council to discuss Brexit today (22 July).
The eight BIC members will gather in Cardiff for an extraordinary summit hosted by the first minister of Wales Carwyn Jones.
Mr Bell will discuss the implications of the UK's vote to leave the EU with counterparts from the UK and Irish governments, the devolved administrations of Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales and Jersey and Guernsey.
Mr Bell says it's 'vital' the Island stays in close contact with political leaders in the British Isles and other Crown Dependencies:

Tynwald 'in a good place' for gender balance compared to other jurisdictions
