Local authority to host meeting this evening
Bride residents have been invited to a meeting tonight (3 Oct) to discuss plans which some say could fundamentally change the nature of the area.
The local authority is hosting the event at the parish Church Hall from 7pm to gather views on businessman John Morphet's proposals to develop Glen Truan golf course into a luxury complex.
He wants to build a new clubhouse, spa, restaurant and fifty-five residential and holiday homes at the site.
Any objections to the plans must be lodged with the planning office by October 6.
A separate public meeting had been held last week to discuss the plans, with many expressing concerns about environmental impact, increased traffic and building design.
