A Douglas energy management firm says they have been left in the dark as to why the Government hasn't re-instated a system which used to bring trainers to the Island.
Energy Management Services, of Hills Meadow, say Energy Development Services used to come across to train and update staff from a number of Manx firms.
The Department of Education says facilities at University College Isle of Man facilities need updating, and that they give financial support for trips across to the UK.
But Leanne Harper, a director of the firm, says the inconvenience and cost of staff going off Island is prohibitive:
