Season opened on 1 November
Eight weeks into the 2025/26 King Scallop fishing season almost 22 percent of the total allowable catch has been landed.
That equates to around 610 tonnes.
The current season opened on 1 November and will close no later than 31 May this year.
The fishery was closed over the Christmas period between 22 December and 4 January.
