Beach cleaners back in action today
Beach Buddies are in action again this morning (Sun) following a short break.
They'll be cleaning Brewery Bay - the proper name for Gansey Bay - from 10.30am.
As usual the charity will provide all the necessary equipment and all rubbish collected will be recycled where possible.
Organiser Bill Dale says 2016 has seen plenty of new faces and the Buddies have amassed almost 7,000 individual volunteers since 2014 . . to say nothing of the hundreds who collect rubbish whilst out walking and place it in the Big Beach Bins.
All are welcome at today's session . . volunteers will meet on the beach opposite the Shore Hotel from 10 for a 10.30 start.
