Competition celebrates creativity, culture and the spoken and written word
Budding poets on the Isle of Man have just over a week left to put themselves forward for the position of Manx Bard.
The search is on to find someone to take over the role from current postholder Bradley Chambers.
The competition celebrates creativity, culture and the spoken and written word; the closing date for applications is 30 August.

The selected individual will become the 12th Manx Bard.
Applications must be submitted by Sunday, 30 August.

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed on Saturday, 12 September.
The inauguration of the 12th Manx Bard will take place on Sunday, 20 September.
