ManxSPCA thanks public 'for helping make this possible'
A local animal charity is thanking people for their 'incredible generosity' in covering the costs of the surgeries and long-term recovery of a dog currently in their care.
The ManxSPCA has confirmed that Buddy, the six-year-old Labrador cross, has now had the first of his two much-needed hip surgeries.
He's said to be recovering well in his foster home and, once he is ready, will begin hydrotherapy and rehabilitation to help him build his strength and mobility before his second hip surgery takes place.
