Careers advisor hails workplace alternatives to university
More than 350 students from the five secondary schools, plus those studying at King William's College are finding out their A-level results this morning.
It's the culmination of years of study and hard work.
Whilst many will now be heading to university, careers advisor with the Department of Education, Sport and Culture, Andrew McKinley, believes the Isle of Man's buoyant economy is the reason more A-level students are going into work, rather than continuing to study.
Mr McKinley believes starting a career straight after sixth form is an attractive option for some:
