Church of England looks at building assets in financial audit
Commercial value, historical importance, building regulations and social value are all factors to be considered by the Church of England as it looks to sell-off some of its assets.
Lord Bishop Peter Eagles has confirmed there is a great deal to take in to account as the church looks to ease its financial difficulties with a review of which buildings it needs and which it doesn't.
He has also promised to honour the emotional attachment people have with burial grounds.
