DEFA Minister confirms work is underway to find a solution following concern from farmers
Allowing farmers to bury fallen stock on their land could pose a significant risk to the farming industry.
That's comes from the Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister, who's confirmed a review of legislation preventing animals who've died from reasons other than slaughter being buried by their owner is underway.
The Island's farming industry recently hit out after the Department of Infrastructure increased the prices for disposing of such livestock.
