It should become clearer later today (Monday) whether a dispute over bus drivers’ pay can be resolved.
Drivers are expected to accept a deal to partly lose their entitlement to a paid lunch break – with changes to sick and holiday pay - which will help the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure make necessary savings.
The Unite Union and the department delayed the counting of the ballot until today.
It was originally due to take place on Friday.
