Some retract employment applications due to change
The owner of a cafe in Jurby says changes to the bus timetable are hampering a drive for new staff.
Darren Cunningham, who also manages the Isle of Man Motor Museum, is looking to employ new workers at the Guard House for the upcoming tourist season.
However, he says proposals from the department of infrastructure have impacted on its recruitment chances in the area, leading to some even pulling out of interviews.
Mr Cunningham believes it's down to the lack of regular service to the area:
