Infrastructure minister gives update in the House of Keys
The infrastructure minister says bus drivers will hold off taking industrial action while talks between her department and a trade union continue.
Michelle Haywood has confirmed the Manx Industrial Relations Service has facilitated talks between Unite the Union and the Department of Infrastructure in a bid to reach an agreement.
It comes after Unite's members at Bus Vannin recently voted in support of industrial action over pay and contract issues.
Dr Haywood says plans are in place if drivers do take strike action:
