Striking bus drivers are aggrieved at not being allowed to work at all today, having been 'locked out' by the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure.
They staged two walkouts, 7.30am-9.30am and 3pm-5pm, but were willing to do shifts otherwise.
The DCCL said it was running a Sunday service all day, so as not to confuse the public, and told the drivers they wouldn't be needed
Marian Kenny reported from the Banks Circus depot for Manx Radio after the second strike ended this evening, having spoken to some of them:

Peel Marina silt to be used to seal off former mining site
House of Keys officially dissolved
Students collecting A-Level results
Further TT course closures for filmingĀ
