It’s day two of the Island’s bus strike – with no sign of compromise between unions and government.
Yesterday saw the start of the industrial action which is scheduled to last through to June 5 – the longest strike the Island’s seen in decades.
Passengers were left confused after widespread disruption, with Bank Holiday services in operation.
Community, Culture and Leisure Minister Graham Cregeen says the department made detailed contingency plans:

Man treated for non-life threatening injuries following Ramsey incident
Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Police dealing with 'serious incident' in Ramsey
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
