The Island's bus drivers are going on strike just before Christmas, their union Unite has confirmed.
Unite National Officer For Passenger Transport Bobby Morton says an 'overwhelming majority' of drivers voted in favour of strike action.
Seventy-nine ballot papers were returned, 71 in favour and eight against.
They're to stop work on December 20, 21 and 22.
Mr Morton denies the strike has been deliberately timed for the run-up to Christmas: (play audio)
Schools will remain open on Thursday and Friday next week, says the Department of Education.
