But not every member was on board with the plans
Treasury has been told to return to Tynwald in July with a capital funding request to finish reinstating the horse tram tracks.
This week, politicians noted the draft business case put forward by the Department of Infrastructure to lay the track between the War Memorial and the Sea Terminal.
It’s a project which could cost up to £3 million.

But the document didn't go through exactly as tabled.
The original supplementary order paper merely called for the business case to be received, but the the request for the plan to be brought forward by July came as part of an amendment from Douglas South MHK Sarah Maltby.
A long proponent of the horse trams being reinstated in full; she called for it to be brought along with the ‘necessary capital funding request’:
Only one member voted against both Mrs Maltby's amendment, and the motion as a whole - MLC Gary Clueit.
He said when it comes to spending the money to back up the plans, members should be 'clear about what they're willing to give up, to pay for it':
