Police deal with 151 coronavirus-related jobs
Police on the Island are re-iterating the stay at home message to the public following a busy Easter.
Over the long weekend, the constabulary dealt with 151 coronavirus-related jobs.
The constabulary's approach to helping government is to engage, explain, encourage, and - as a last resort - enforce.
However, police had to use enforcement multiple times over Easter, resulting in numerous arrests.
In a post of social media, police acknowledged concern over social distancing at popular locations.
It stated 'they will be busy so just be careful, and if you have to travel go to the nearest/safest location.'
Adding, 'we get exercise is important for physical and mental health, let’s just not put ourselves or others at risk doing it.'
