Joint venture between the DfE and DEFA hosted at Noa Market Hall
The departments behind an event to link up local producers with buyers say it was 'certainly not a replacement' for the Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival.
'Meet Your Producer', a joint venture between the Department for Enterprise and the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture, was held in Douglas last night (23 September).
It was organised to 'showcase the breadth and depth of Manx food and drink to the local hospitality, food service, hotelier, retail and wholesale industry'.
Around 20 exhibitors, covering a wide range of food and drink categories, from dairy, drinks, snacks to meats and seafood, were in attendance, many of whom have been recognised with Great Taste Awards.
