Karen and Tim Norton estimate the group has helped around 500 new residents in 8 years
A couple that founded a community group that's helped around 500 new Manx residents settle into Island life are retiring this weekend.
Karen and Tim Norton set up Cafe Lingo eight years ago to help those whose first language isn't English brush up on their language skills and meet new people.
New volunteers will keep the initiative going, with an official handover taking place as part of tomorrow's Springfest event at the Promenade Methodist Church in Douglas from 10am.
The lessons, which are free, are taking a break over Easter, returning on 13 April at 10.15am in the church.
The Nortons say having an upbeat outlook is key:

Isle of Man inflation eases slightly to 2.8% in October
