A cafe in the north of the Island has suspended a staff member following an allegation on social media.
In a statement, the Northern Pool Cafe says it acted swiftly to investigate the matter after becoming aware of the accusations.
While it says it won't be sharing further details due to the sensitive nature of the claims, the business goes on to say it wants to assure the community that it doesn't tolerate any form of misconduct, and takes all allegations seriously.
It adds that it's committed to fostering a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for all customers, staff and the local community.
