Sulby retailer has been there for 70 years
One of the most iconic landmarks in Manx retail is up for sale.
Caley's General Store in Sulby has been a shop for over 70 years, with one family owning and running it for 60 of those.
The most recent owner was Mr Raymond Caley, who sadly passed away in February last year.
A cornerstone of the community in the north of the Island, Caley's has also become a significant checkpoint along the TT circuit.
Included are detailed plans, in principle, to construct a proposed new dwelling.
The shop building, along with the plot behind it, is up for sale as a lot.
It remains unclear at this point whether the prospective buyer will keep the shop in operation.
The Estate Agent has asked for serious enquiries only.
