'The Puddle' subject to more plastic
Wardens on the Calf of Man have described the Islet's southern bay as 'a mess', after a clean up on Tuesday (2 Oct).
They have been preparing the Island's beaches for the coming season of baby seals to their shores.
In an hour, nearly 800 pieces of rubbish were collected from 'The Puddle' as it is known, despite a previous effort which cleared it of debris just a few months ago.
A pie chart on the Calf Observation Facebook page revealed hard plastics like bottle tops and cotton buds as well as polystyrene, made up the majority of the rubbish.
