Manx Birdlife addresses groups' 'silo mentality'
A greater effort is needed for various conservation groups on the Island to work together.
That's the belief of the Managing Director of Manx Birdlife.
The charity - originally known as "Manx Bird Atlas" - was set up in 1997 to produce a comprehensive document of the Island's bird population.
It now aims to protect the Island's birdlife and increase awareness of the problems faced by the Island's flora and fauna.
Neil Morris says whilst there is good work going on, more needs to be done to escape the silo mentality:
