Online petition wants similar rules to Guernsey
Covid-19 tests should be introduced at the sea terminal and airport according to an online petition.
It's been started by Ramsey Grammar School head teacher Annette Baker who believes we need to mirror the current system in Guernsey.
The channel island has different levels of isolation for arrivals depending on infection rates in their home countries.
Annette Baker says we need to be more flexible to allow students to come home at Christmas and for loved ones to meet at half-term:
However, some want the rules on self-isolation tightening, especially when there are others including children, sharing the same accommodation.
Island resident Helen has a health condition which puts her in the Covid-19 vulnerable category.
She explained to Beth Espey why she's written to the education and health ministers:
