Committee seeking further evidence
Island residents with views on mental health services are being encouraged to share them, as an official inquiry continues.
Tynwald's Social Affairs Policy Review Committee is gauging the prevalence of mental health conditions among the Manx people, and how those who need help are served by the system.
It's issued a public call for evidence, and extended the deadline to next Thursday, 27 April.
Submissions are welcome from anyone who'd like to comment on the issue.
A three-strong committee, chaired by David Cretney MLC, is also looking at the impact mental illness has on public services - including the police.
You can email your submission to enquiries@tynwald.org.im, or write to the committee at Legislative Buildings, Douglas, IM1 3PW.
