A former Onchan MHK says it's a issue growing
A former MHK has called on government to introduce a Homeless Act on the Isle of Man to help those without access to housing.
Peter Karren is helping spearhead a new campaign for a new night shelter on the Island and was at a public meeting in Douglas to discuss the matter last night.
The former Onchan and Middle representative says it's an issue that can't be ignored:
Two Members of the House of Keys, Jason Moorhouse and John Wannenburgh, were in attendance.
Mr Moorhouse told Manx Radio he'd taken the comments on board and would take the matter to the ministers:
