Charges changed ahead of sale?
There's a call for the Island's Office of Fair Trading to investigate the change of ownership of Manx Gas.
Parent company International Energy Group (IEG) has been sold to Ancala Partners, a London-based infrastructure investment firm.
Onchan Commissioner Rob Callister has questioned the timing of the sale - after Manx Gas increased standing charges last autumn.
It was a controversial move, described by Manx Gas as 'cost neutral' but which led to higher bills for many customers.
Mr Callister says guaranteed revenue from the standing charge made Manx Gas more attractive to its new owners.
