Public invited to join in festivities
The Manx public is invited to join in this year's Armed Forces Day - now less than a month away.
The event, which marks the contribution of serving personnel, veterans and reserves, starts with a march along Douglas promenades to the Villa Marina.
An afternoon tea and evening entertainment is laid-on at the venue, giving an opportunity for forces' personnel to socialise with family and friends.
Organisers are urging those who'd like to attend Armed Forces Day on Sunday 25 June, to apply for a ticket.
Major Charles Wilson says the traditional formula works well - and is popular:
Ticket application forms are available in the Welcome Centre, the Villa Marina and in local commissioners' offices.
