Mec Vannin urge firmness on scallop issue
The chairman of Mec Vannin says government must hold its ground over proposed changes to king scallop fishing licenses.
DEFA plans to make it a requirement that boats fishing in Manx seas report back to a Manx port at the end of each day of activity in order to carry out stock checks.
However, it was announced on Friday these changes have been delayed after concerns from the Scottish Government.
