The owner of a shopping complex in Castletown says he is willing to meet the town’s commissioners, despite reports to the contrary.
Roy Tilleard has become frustrated at not being able to bring supermarket Tesco to the town and in January submitted plans to convert most of the Callow’s Yard commercial premises into residential accommodation.

Mr Tilleard says he wants to work with civic chiefs to form a thriving retail town.
