Councillor believes more could be done
A Douglas councillor would like the local authority to adopt the single-use plastic reduction plan.
Andrew Bentley sits on a committee charged with increasing recycling levels in the capital.
He recently decided to go without single-use plastics for a month.
Mr Bentley, who's also the chairman of the Isle of Man Green Party, says more could be done.
The council is currently asking for public feedback on how to improve waste services, which include the eastern household recycling centre and kerbside collections.
