Marking the 100th anniversary of the Armistice
Speaker of the House of Keys Juan Watterson is renewing calls for a new permanent national war memorial in the Isle of Man.
He will bring the matter to Tynwald when it sits tomorrow (Tuesday).
Members will be asked to support the forming of a new committee to devise plans for 2018 - the 100th anniversary of Armistice.
Mr Watterson placed a wreath at St John's on behalf of cadets during last week's Rememberance Sunday service.
He says it's now time to think ahead:
Smile of Mann programme to start in primary schools next year
Loganair passengers yet to be reunited with bags left in Manchester on Sunday
Kirk Michael man taking on 31 marathons in 31 days in memory of friend
Government grant partially funded fishing vessel later used for smuggling
CRHS plans are progressing, insists education minister
