Former homeless charity previously raised concerns over 'hidden homelessness'
It's hoped a new night shelter will be set up 'as soon as possible' over fears those who are homeless or leaving their homes due to domestic abuse have nowhere to go.
Homelessness charity Graih closed down it's night shelter operations towards the end of last year and residents are understood to have labelled it an 'outrage' there's currently no provision.
A public meeting is being held on Thursday (29 June) to discuss what's needed to bring the idea to reality.
Campaigner Cat Jenkins wants to see the plans in action quickly:
The event is scheduled to begin at 19.00 at the Christian Science Church on Woodbourne Road in Douglas.
