Callum Gawne has been crowned winner of the 2025 Parish Walk.

He completed the grueling 85-mile challenge in 15 hours, 49 minutes and 49 seconds crossing the finish line on Douglas Promenade last night (21 June).

Meanwhile, Samantha Bowden won the women's race and finished joint-second overall with the second male finisher Tristan Shields in 16 hours, 35 minutes and 35 seconds.

Speaking to Manx Radio at the finish line, Gawne says he hopes his victory can inspire others to take on big challenges:

Elsewhere, Bowden told Manx Radio it was the icing on the cake to win the female event on top of a personal best performance:

After the leading trio, 2023 and 2024 women's winner Lorna Gleave finished second in the women's race and fourth overall (17 hours, 13 minutes and five seconds).

Completing the men's top three was David Williams (17 hours, 13 minutes and five seconds) and third in the women's event was Emma Wilson (17 hours, 24 minutes and 16 seconds) with those two crossing the line in fifth and sixth overall respectively.

Earlier in the day, the Under-21 race to Peel was won overall by Robert Farnworth (six hours, 36 minutes and 38 seconds) with Connor Cain finishing second in the men's Under-21 class (six hours, 50 minutes and 45 seconds).

The women's Under-21 contest was jointly-won by both Lottie Stennett and Madison McMullan (six hours, 59 minutes and 37 seconds).
