Women asked to speak out
The Manx public now have the chance to make their view known on the reform of abortion legislation.
A consultation on the draft Abortion Reform Bill - driven by Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson - was launched today.
Pro-choice group Campaign for Abortion Law Modernisation (CALM) is urging women to speak out on the matter.
The Bill advocates for measures such as making abortions available on Island in early pregnancy, so women won't have to travel at their own expense.
Spokesperson Samantha Morris says all women need to step forward and engage with the consultation.
